My annual pilgrimage to Hodsock Priory followed a day of torrential rain, so the designated pathways were very muddy and quite a challenge, though I am sure all children wearing ‘wellies’ (wellington boots) will have great fun slithering about. There are around two hundred species of snowdrops in the woods though I didnt bend down to differentiate! It was so nice to see so many people of all generations arriving and enjoying the delicate-looking flowers that pop up even through thick snow to announce the coming end to winter. My other photos of previous years are in Eunis Ezine and Eunis Ezine Extras. Last year I only went at bluebell time!
